Dog Adoption

Two DuPage County Fair Board members inspired this event; President, Jim McGuire and Associate Director, Carey Peterson, who both adopted rescue dogs in 2011 from area shelters. While searching for the perfect pooches, they were in awe of how many hundreds of dogs are currently living in shelters or in foster homes and in need of forever homes.
