*NEW FOR 2017: Digital Signs Throughout the Fair*

This year we’ve enhanced our visitor’s experience by providing digital signs throughout our grounds. On each of these displays you’ll find valuable information like:

  • A daily fair schedule
  • Headliner performance reminders
  • Video clips from around the fair
  • Messages from sponsors

These helpful displays will be located to the right and left of our main stage, in buildings 2 and 3, as well as on mobile carts around our fairgrounds. All of them are powered by DXNotifi, a solution built by Magenium Solutions.

COMMUNITY PROJECTS

Give A Goat – Have you noticed the large plastic change jars with the goats on them throughout the barns and fairgrounds? Please help us purchase goats for the needy families in Haiti. For every $150, a female goat can be purchased through the Haitian Foundation Give-A-Goat Program. This is our 3rd year collecting donations from our fairgoers and six (6) goats have already been presented in our name.

Food Drive – PLEASE bring canned goods to the Fair to help benefit our local neighborhood food pantries. Canned goods will be collected all five (5) days at the gates. “FREE” admission will be provided when you bring two canned goods , or more, per person BEFORE 9:00 am on Sunday, July 31st.

Collection of Pop Tops - from beverage cans to benefit The Ronald McDonald House in Winfield. Bring all your pop tops to the Fair and give them to the ticket takers. Collect as many as possible so we have many pounds of pop tops to give to the Ronald McDonald House.

Piillowcases for Cancer Patients - Project will be started at the Fair. Directions for making a pillowcase will be available at the Fair in the Expo Center and online. Completed pillowcases should be brought to the Fair Office by Friday, December 1st so we can deliver them to Ronald McDonald House and to CDH/Northwestern Hospital and given to cancer patients to brighten their “Holiday Season”.
