July 2019
Dear Exhibitor,
Thank you for registering for our livestock show at DuPage County Fair.  We are sure this will be a great year and look forward to seeing you on check in Day, July 23.  Please plan to be there in time to weigh in at or before 6 PM if you are in a market class.  All check in must be done prior to 8 pm. All applicable exhibits will need your health papers during check in and registration papers should be available then and at the show ring.
This year we have new veterinarians for the fair.  They will be doing daily walk throughs to check on animal health and will advise the superintendents and the livestock owners if any animal is deemed to be sick.  If your animal is deemed to be sick you will be responsible for calling your own veterinarian to provide care.  The fair vets will not be treating any animal conditions.
Any animal treated at the fairgrounds will not be eligible for the livestock auction.
If your animal is very sick, we have a quarantine area until such time we can release your animal to be taken home. The rest of your animals will not be released prior to check out time on Sunday.
We also welcome you to our third annual Ag Appreciation dinner on Thursday July 25 immediately following the costume contest in the main show ring.  Anyone is welcome to dress up themselves and an animal for our fun parade.  All are welcome with their immediate families at the dinner – please plan to bring a dessert to share and a chair!
We are looking forward to a great fair!!
Best regards,
Bonnie Paganis, Stephan Hass & the Fair Board Livestock Committee
