APPLICATION FOR MERCHANDISE & EXHIBITS
COMMERCIAL EXHIBITS FOR INDOOR & OUTDOOR:
LIKE KIND OF EXHIBITS ARE LIMITED
Even though space may be available we reserve the right to limit the number of dealers for one type of product or exhibit. When informed as to what is available and a space is desired-payment must be made in full to guarantee a space at the fair.
You need to be specific on the item/items you will be selling and/or displaying during the fair. Only items listed on your application will be allowed. Exhibitors must remain within space – no roving or overextending of space.
Payment for space after June 30 must be with credit card, cash, or money order - no personal checks accepted!
INSIDE SPACES: $500
Spaces available in Hall of Commerce Building (#4), Expo Center (#1)
Spaces are 10’ x 10’
OUTSIDE SPACES: $500
Spaces are 10’ deep.
Any vehicle or tent set up in these spaces CANNOT PROTRUDE PAST THEIR DESIGNATED SPACE.
Electricity is available - make sure to bring an outdoor extension cord. (GFCI) Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter will be required for all outside vendors.
Exhibitors that have camping trailers will be required to pay Camping Fees-See CAMPING ON GROUNDS. A Separate Camper Application will be required to be completed and returned to Fair Office.
THE SPACE FEE INCLUDES:
The total cost for five (5) days at the Fair, Ten (10) one-day PASSES PER CONTRACT
One (1) vehicle pass
Electrical hook-up (120volt- 20amp ONLY).
DISPLAY & EQUIPMENT:
Display tastefully – family orientated
Sides of Exhibits may not exceed the height of 4’.
Tables will be provided – Bring your own chairs
Tables MUST be covered – covers not provided.
Extension cords will not be provided.
Bring Additional Lights
Provide a copy of LIABILITY INSURANCE CERTIFICATE prior to Fair, along with signed contract, which includes: The party of the second part shall maintain in force General Liability and Property Damage insurance in the amount of $2,000,000 and agrees, to the extent allowed by law, to hold harmless and defend the Lessor, DuPage County Fair Association, their officers and employees, DuPage County from any and all claims, losses, and expenses for injuries to persons or damage to property, including the use thereof, which may arise as a result of any act or omission which may result from the use of the premises as defined in the contract or caused by any person, firm, or corporation directly or indirectly employed by the party of the second part.
It is agreed that the party of the second part shall furnish a certificate of insurance including this contractual agreement, prior to the event. Certificate must name DuPage County Fair Association, its members and employees, and DuPage County as Certificate Holder and Additional Insured. Certificate must include date of show, and set up and tear down dates.
Proof of ILLINOIS Workers Compensation is a MUST IF you have paid employees. YOU DO NOT NEED WORKERS COMPENSATION IF WORKERS ARE VOLUNTEERS.
SET UP DAYS & TIMES:
Monday & Tuesday - 8 AM - 7 PM (Building will be closed at 7 PM)
NOTE: Spaces not set up by 10am Wednesday will be sold to other exhibitors.
OPEN: Each day at 12:00 pm (noon) (Rain or Shine)
CLOSE: 8:00 PM
Vehicles allowed on Midway before 9am DURING FAIR HOURS.
COMMERCIAL VENDORS MUST HAVE AN ADULT IN THEIR BOOTH DURING BUSINESS HOURS.
Security will be on duty 24 Hours. YOU ARE STILL RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN THINGS.
Displays may be taken down at 8:00 pm Sunday. EXHIBITS MUST be removed Sunday evening. No vehicles allowed on midway until permitted by security. Displays or equipment left after this time will be disposed of at the discretion of the FAIR ASSOCIATION.
LOTTERY - SALE OF CHANCES NOT ALLOWED!
You may do FREE give away and free gifts and use a non-monetary drawing to do this, but the drawing must be done at the Fair and the winners name and address must be turned in to us at the Office along with the name, address and phone number of the company
NO PETS ALLOWED IN COMMERCIAL EXHIBIT AREAS.
CAMPING ON GROUNDS:
This will be available by RESERVATION ONLY. Be sure you have catch pans for waste water. NO WASTE DUMPING ON GROUNDS. A PERMIT will be issued and must be placed in a window for easy viewing to show that you have paid. NAME OF BOOTH OR STAND AND LOCATION OF SUCH WILL BE REQUIRED ON PERMIT. THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED. Since hook-ups may not be next to your vehicle, you will need to bring your own extension cord and hose. IF YOU PLAN TO CAMP ON GROUNDS, PLEASE CONTACT THE FAIR OFFICE SO THEY CAN SEND YOU AN APPLICATION, WHICH NEEDS TO BE COMPLETED AND RETURNED, WITH A $50 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT.
